2005 Ford GTX 1 (Ford GT Converted to Roadster in conjunction with the Chief Engineer of the Ford GT project)
Built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Ford Motor Company, the Ford GT is the reincarnation of the legendary GT40 which ruled the worlds race tracks in the late 1960’s. This 212 MPH Super Car does 0-60 in 3.3 seconds and the quarter mile in approximately 11 seconds flat. This extremely rare Ford GT has been recreated as the legendary GTX1 first designed by McLaren Racing Ltd. This new GTX1 was designed by Kip Ewing, Chief Ford engineer on the Ford GT project. The GTX1 took first place at Sebring in 1966 and was later destroyed.
